Sadly, social media increases the pressure on people to look and live in a certain way, which is in turn fuelling mental health and anxiety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a medical practitioner, <strong>it is our duty of care to assess patients correctly before administering any aesthetic treatment.<\/strong> We know that it is really important for an individual to be in the right frame of mind before they consider or agree to any form of aesthetic treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s what we do at Unndoo to <strong>ensure that we understand our patients\u2019 reasons for wanting aesthetic treatment:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>We don\u2019t treat any patients who are 18 years old or younger.<\/li><li>We carry out a thorough face to face consultation.<\/li><li>We ask all of our customers to point out areas that they want to improve.<\/li><li>We listen to our customers\u2019 expectations and always inform them if their expectations are not realistic.<\/li><li>We use our medical expertise to assess whether the customer is suitable for treatment.<\/li><li>We are aware of the red flags of BDD and know where to refer our customers if we feel it is necessary.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>As a team of medical professionals, we are fully trained to protect young people&#8217;s mental health.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div
