How Not To Look Tired On Your Wedding Day
Anti-wrinkle treatments for the bride (or bridesmaid) to be
The night before your wedding day, as you lay in bed with the excitement of tomorrow buzzing through your bones, it’s hard not to think about wrinkles. You know they will be there tomorrow morning when you wake up. It can make a bride feel like she is ageing prematurely before the biggest day of her life.
But don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be this way. If you’ve managed to find a venue that you love, and they even have availability for your big day then you’re one of the lucky ones. While the summer months are usually the peak of the wedding season, we know this year will be slightly different and weddings will be running into the winter months.
So, no matter when your big day is, there are plenty of anti-wrinkle treatments available today that can help reduce those pesky wrinkles and keep you looking fresh all day long (and after).
In this blog post, we’ll talk about the no.1 way to reduce your wrinkles and freshen up your skin. We’ll cover the following:
- Botox treatments for brides-to-be
- How far in advance should brides book in for aesthetic treatments?
- What makes us different from the others?
- Is one appointment enough to get that amazing wedding glow?
- How not to have the frozen look.
- How long does Botox last for?
- How much does it cost?
Botox treatments for brides-to-be
Apart from the countless things that can go wrong on your wedding day, there are several treatments you may want to consider before saying “I Do”.
Many brides think they need certain areas done but after speaking with our lovely UNNDOO practitioners during a thorough consultation, they may leave with a completely different plan. This may be down to a few factors such as:
- Time constraints
- The effectiveness of various Botox products
- The general health of their skin or how deep the lines are
No matter what it is, our practitioners have you covered. Remember, they are all medically qualified, trained in medical-grade skincare and are experts at facial tweakments. No novices here, just seasoned professionals.
As we all know, a thorough skincare regime can take months if not years to help improve those lines and wrinkles and so a lot of brides have shifted to Botox, something that can give them instant results with very minimal downtime.
So, how far in advance should brides book in for aesthetic treatments?
We always recommend our clients to come and try our service as early as possible so they can get familiar with the process and the practitioner can understand their needs, giving our brides the opportunity to ask as many questions as they want. Ultimately, we want you to feel as comfortable as possible, so you have that trust and confidence early on.
However, sometimes, brides don’t have the luxury of time and so we recommend that you book a minimum of 4 weeks before. Why 4 weeks you ask?
If you book a consultation-only appointment first, then this gives you enough time to book a treatment appointment after. The consultation-only appointment is a chance for you to get to know the practitioner, discuss your medical history, share your expectations, wants and needs, gives the practitioner time to guide you through the process and create a treatment plan that will suit you for your big day. Then you’re armed with all the knowledge you need to book the relevant Botox treatment areas. Just a note – even during your treatment appointment we’ll still give you a consultation again to make sure you’re happy with everything and to ensure nothing has changed.
If you then decided to book a treatment appointment within 7 days, we’ll refund you the consultation fee (£50) that you paid at the start, happy days!
If you decided to book a treatment appointment straight away, we encourage you to book 2-3 areas, after the consultation at the start of the appointment, if the practitioner decides that you only need one area then we’ll refund you the difference, so you only pay for the areas that were injected.
But remember, Botox can take up to 2 weeks to take effect so that’s why you need a little buffer. If you have any further questions or if you require a little bit more Botox to get your desired look then you can book a free tweak/review appointment and the same practitioner will come to your home for a tweak (top-up).
And so, as you can see from the treatment time to the Botox taking effect, potentially having a tweak/top-up and then a little bit of time for the Botox to do its magic, it can take up to 4 weeks.
What makes us different from the others?
The biggest thing you’ll notice is that WE COME TO YOUR HOME, which is a blessing for our brides. We know you have a million and one things to do so having an experienced medical professional come to your home is a delight. You can sit back and slot this appointment into your calendar. We can even come as early as 7 am to 9 pm at night, so while clinics are sleeping, we’re still servicing our clients.
Also, we offer all our clients a free complimentary tweak/review appointment, which means that we want to make sure you’re happy with your results and if it means that you need a little refinement, then that’s not a problem. To find out more about this process click here. We don’t believe in our clients having to pay for this additional appointment as we just want to make sure that you’re happy with the results, so you feel fabulous for your big day.
Lastly, we pride ourselves on the highest safety standards – our practitioners always wear full PPE, sanitise the surfaces they work from, use single-use products, and ensure all safety and hygiene standards are maintained.

That’s it – convenience, quality and safety all rolled into one.
Is one appointment enough to get that amazing wedding glow?
At a minimum, if you book a consultation-only appointment, with the treatment appointment and tweak/review appointment it could take 3 visits. But don’t worry this is all one price.
Sometimes, it only takes our brides 1 appointment though as they are often happy with the results straight away and there is no need to book a complimentary tweak/review appointment. This is mainly applicable to those that have had Botox before.
How not to have the frozen look
When flashes are going off and your friends and family are snapping away, the last thing you want is to be stuck with limited facial expressions and your photos of your big day are ruined by your frozen face. That’s not what we want either and we wouldn’t let that happen to you.
That’s why our practitioners are skilled in ‘Baby Botox’. No, this isn’t a new and special type of Botox, it’s just about injecting smaller quantities of Botox to tighten the skin, reduce those lines and wrinkles and still allowing for some natural movement.
Yes, some of our clients love the frozen look and if that’s what you want then no worries but if you want a more subtle and natural look then our practitioners are expertly suited to handle this. When you have your consultation, and you discuss your expectations and wants they’ll know exactly what you’re looking for and will inject you accordingly. But don’t forget there’s the complimentary tweak/review appointment just in case you need a little more.

Our final thoughts
Weddings can be a daunting affair. Not only are you responsible for the ceremony and reception, but also, all those planning decisions that come with it!
However, recent years have been tricky – not to mention 2020 and now brides are scrambling to find venues and caterers before they’re booked out.
But fortunately, we’re somewhat close to being back on track now so here is what we recommend:
- Firstly, enjoy the process because if you’ve got your day planned then there will be plenty more laughter than tears.
- Secondly, make sure it’s not just any old practitioner that does your beauty work too – after all this isn’t something as easy as ‘picking up from town’. Our practitioners have either been brides and are going to be and they know how important it is to make you feel amazing, confident, and glowing on your big day.
- Thirdly, we’re here for you just WhatsApp us / call (07585 237 435) or email (medical@unndoo.com) and we’ll be more than happy to help support you through your anti-wrinkle journey.
