Whilst it may be tempting to jump online and book a facial aesthetics treatment for the next available appointment, it’s advised to plan a little more carefully if you have a covid vaccine or booster appointment booked.
It’s advised for clients to wait at least 2-3 weeks after they have either had Covid-19 or the Covid-19 vaccine/booster. At present, there is no hard evidence and very few studies have been carried out as it is a fairly new topic amongst us all. However, it is known that it takes around 2 weeks for the immune system to process the vaccine and it takes around 2 weeks for Pfizer and Moderna to take effect on the body as well.
It’s important to make your practitioner aware if you have had the vaccine or when you are planning to have it so that they are aware and can advise accordingly.
