1) Are you a doctor or dentist? Why did you follow this path?

I am a dentist with a special interest in aesthetic and restorative dentistry. I saw dentistry as an opportunity to have an impact on an individual whilst also being creative. It offers me a great work-life balance and the chance to meet amazing new people every day.

2) Why did you get into facial aesthetics?

I worked in the maxillo-facial department for a few years and became engrossed with surgical facial reconstructions, nose jobs, chin surgery and I quickly became interested in non-surgical treatments. It was amazing what you could do with such little downtime! I did a comprehensive course in facial aesthetics and started offering Botox® and fillers to many of my patients in practice. I haven’t looked back since!

3) What would you say to someone thinking about getting Botox® for the first time?

You’re not going to end up with a frozen face! Botox® treatments have evolved and can give you much more natural looking results!

4) How do you think Botox® helps people?

Botox® helps keep the skin taut by keeping those fine lines under wrap. It is definitely better to have preventative treatment – as it doesn’t “cure”/get rid of deep-seated lines.

I only started at 30 and I wish I did it earlier- it stopped my makeup from creasing in all those forehead lines.

5) What’s your favourite TV show at the moment?

Masterchef Australia! – I can’t cook but I love food!
